Adhesive tapes are highly specialized all-purpose tools – whether for home or high-tech applications. The adhesive must therefore meet highly diverse and demanding requirements and contributes crucially to the success of an adhesive tape.
UV-curing pressure-sensitive adhesives are a Collano specialty. The combination of UV-curing additives with tackifier resins creates excellent adhesion and cohesion properties. Typical applications of such pressure-sensitive adhesives are in the area of self-adhesive finishes for insulation materials, e.g. in the automotive industry.
