The fastest way to bond
Maximum speed was the goal in the development of polyurea adhesives, so that parts can be bonded and further processed in cycle times as usual in the automotive industry. Thanks to immediate curing, additional hardening by heat or waiting times until handling strength is achieved are a thing of the past.
The curing of our fastest adhesives begins immediately after application, and high strengths are achieved within a few seconds. In series production, specific processes and machines are used for this, which have surpassed the traditional bead application method of bonding.
Injection bonding
The adhesive is injected between two parts and cures immediately. Perfect for fast and permanent bonding of pipe constructions, point fixings or housing parts.
Bonding by potting
The adhesive is poured into the gap between two parts and cures immediately. This is a simple, clean, and very fast adhesive application to fix large parts quickly and permanently in position.
Structural strength for the bonding of parts with CDC coatings
The growing trend towards modular construction in vehicle manufacturing demands structural adhesives for painted surfaces. At Collano, we offer adhesives that achieve lap shear strength of over 30 MPa on common CDC coatings. When needed, these adhesives can be adjusted to remain elastic with an elongation at break of up to 500%.

Our products are specifically designed for the manual bonding of plastic components in small series. The extended open time allows for clean application through manual processes, such as using cartridges. Thanks to the elastic final properties, any show-through of the adhesive bead on the visible side is reliably prevented.
