Collano adhesives based on 2-component silane epoxies (RS adhesives) are versatile and create secure bonds between a wide range of materials - from glass and ceramics such as aluminium oxide and silicon carbide to high-performance polymers such as UHMW polyethylene and para-aramid or ballistic steel. One stand-out feature of RS adhesives from Collano is their ability to bond carbides such as silicon carbide and boron carbide without pre-treatment. This saves time and money, as it eliminates the need for complex surface treatment.
