How Collano and Anavon are setting new standards in ski manufacturing
The requirements for modern skis are high. They must respond precisely, remain safe even at high speeds, and be comfortable to ride. For manufacturers, this means combining different materials such as aluminium, wood, fibers, and plastics in such a way that they work together to deliver exactly that.
A new approach to ski construction
When ANAVON gets down to work, materials, craftsmanship, passion, and innovative spirit play a central role. The result is ANAVON skis that take performance and design to a whole new level. Working closely with Collano, a new generation of sporty skis has been created. The new ARX and ARX Pro ski models demonstrate the potential of this combination. Collano's adhesive film improves the stiffness of the ski and enables a sporty riding style without increasing weight or compromising riding comfort. For ANAVON, this is not just a technical solution, but part of the brand: the best materials, the utmost care, Swiss precision.
Tradition meets progress

The adhesive film was not created on the drawing board. It is based on years of experience with high-performance applications. What has proven itself in sailing and industry has been transferred to ski construction and further developed in collaboration with ANAVON. The exchange between development teams was central to this process.
Sustainable and innovative
The fiber-reinforced adhesive film deliberately avoids the use of epoxy resins. Instead, novel polymers and high-performance fibers are used, which can be tailored. The fiber-reinforced adhesive films are dry and storage-stable at room temperature, making them reliable to use in processes. For ANAVON, this means maximum control over the construction of the skis. For Collano, it is another example of how an idea can be turned into a reliable bond.
