Each year, Collano trains a chemical laboratory technician to Federal VET diploma level. During the three-year apprenticeship, you will work in our research and development laboratories with glass apparatus and high-tech equipment, study our products and write analysis reports. Collano trains apprentices together with Artimelt and Vanora, so you will get to know three companies during your apprenticeship. You will attend the vocational college in Lucerne.
I like that I have to work very precisely. Through analysis, I can identify connections that would otherwise remain hidden.
High-tech laboratory instead of classroom
A taster makes it easier for you to apply for this apprenticeship, but is not a requirement. You are well-suited if you enjoy precision work, mathematics and chemistry are among your favourite subjects and you are attending secondary school at level A or B.
