Each year Collano trains an ICT specialist to Federal VET diploma level. During your three-year apprenticeship, you will install and configure user terminals for information and communication technology (ICT). You will work on problems via the helpdesk, and use your expertise to help and support your internal customers in an innovative way, responding swiftly. The training is highly practical, as you work with the majority of your customers in the same building. Your apprenticeship with us is your doorway to the digital future and offers you excellent prospects. You will attend the vocational college in Sursee.
I think it's coolest when someone has a problem and I can solve it. Sometimes it's just a small thing but people are super grateful afterwards.
Computers, networks, problem solving - your thing?
A taster makes it easier for you to apply for this apprenticeship, but is not a requirement. What qualities do you need? Quite simply: an enthusiasm for computer science, technology and electronic systems. A basic technical understanding is just as important as a love of abstract, logical thinking and precision work. If you like challenges and solving problems, you've come to the right place. Mathematics and science should also be among your favourite subjects. If you pass secondary level B or possibly A, then you already have a solid foundation.
